Description:

Up for auction is this Lecia GPS System 500, dual-frequency, geodetic RTK system in clean, excellent operating and cosmetic condition consistent with light, responsible use.

This system includes two SR530 receivers, an AT502 terminal, two AT502 antennas, two Pacific Crest radio-modems (base and rover) with antennas and tripod, and an array of batteries, chargers, cables, cases, firmware, software and documentation. See equipment list and photographs. The Pacific Crest PDL4535 radio-modem (base) is a 35 watt long range radio (also has low power setting to save on batteries).

Also included is a Gateway 450SX4 laptop computer dedicated to this system. It is running Windows XP Pro and features slots for the PCMIA cards, a serial port and preloaded software including Leica SKI-Pro, GPS500 Simulation and Satellite Availability software. Appears to be a “clean” system free of unnecessary software or junk.

The SR530 receivers are both running the most recent GPS 500 System Version 5.10 Firmware. The TR500 terminal is loaded with the following applications: Determine Coordinate System, Point Management, Calculator, Wake-up Sessions, COGO, Area, and Line Division. The genuine Leica PCMIA cards are formatted and operational.

Auction includes a total of eight GEB121 plug-in rechargeable batteries. Two with each receiver plus four spares. All are in good shape and hold a charge

Auction does not include the “red” aluminum tripod used for display only in the second photo. Auction also does not include 12V battery for the Pacific Crest PDL54535 radio-modem (base).

This system is from a local professional surveyor that takes care of his gear.

Minor Nits

There are no crosshairs visible in the optical plummet of the Sokkia tribrach.

The following cosmetic blems are noted but do not affect operation:

Pacific Crest PDLGFU6 radio-modem (rover)—slight gap between cover and base of housing—Has been carefully sealed with good clear tape to block moisture.

Pacific Crest aluminum telescoping antenna tripod—Some small dents in the sliding legs. Snap clip that keeps the legs together has a piece missing but still works. Blue paint is partially worn off the feet. Soft case side pockets are torn and inner lining is flaking off.

Gateway 450SX4 computer there are two small cracks in the top corner of the case behind the screen. Has been carefully fixed with good clear tape.

Notwithstanding the above, the system is in great shape and ready to work!
